When can I expect my order to arrive?

We currently deliver to a selection of North Shore suburbs on Wednesdays, and a selection of Auckland Central suburbs on Thursdays. Due to the nature of freshly baked goods, our order cut off times are:

  • Wednesday delivery to North Shore suburbs: order by Monday 10am
  • Thursday delivery to Auckland Central suburbs: order by Tuesday 10am

If you place an order past the day/time listed above, your items will be delivered the following week. Please be patient, as we hope to offer more delivery days in the future. Daily Bread operates its own delivery vehicle and does not use couriers - this way, products arrive to you on time, and in perfect condition.

Where is your delivery service based?

We deliver in Auckland, New Zealand. Currently, we don’t offer delivery options to other towns or cities.

What suburbs do you deliver to?

For now, we deliver to a selection of North Shore suburbs on Wednesdays, and a selection of Auckland Central suburbs on Thursdays. Enter your postcode at checkout to see if we deliver to your suburb.

If we don’t currently deliver to your area we appreciate your patience. Options will slowly grow as we find our feet

How much does delivery cost? 

For one off orders, there's a flat delivery fee of $7.00 and a minimum order value of $20. 

Subscription lets you enjoy a weekly delivery of baked goods and deli items while saving on delivery fees. We offer free delivery for orders valued over $50 and subscribers save on weekly delivery fees, with $4 charged per order.

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time. 

I want to create a regular weekly order. How do I subscribe?

Nice one. Head to our order page, and browse the selection of breads, pastries and deli items. Add items to your cart, and then click check out.

On the check out page, you’ll be asked whether the order is a recurring one. Select ‘yes’, and then select store pick up or delivery, depending on your preference.

How fresh is your bread?

Very. Your bread and/or pastries will have come out of the oven the morning of its delivery day.

I'm buying for a work event and plan on placing a big order, do you offer a discount? 

We do indeed. All orders valued over $200 get 10% off the total order.

Why do you have order cut off times?

Yes. It's best to order 2 days in advance. Our order cut off times exist because good bread is a labour of love and we make ours using a slow fermentation process, which makes it sourdough bread. This means that our bakers must begin preparing your bread 24-36 hours before it goes in the oven.

I want to track my bread delivery, is this possible?

Currently, we deliver orders through our in house delivery team. With time, we hope to partner with a local courier which will allow for conventional tracking.

It's likely that I won't be home when my order is delivered. Will you still deliver?

Yes. We will leave your order in a safe place of our choosing, unless you've written specific delivery instructions into your order notes.

Do you cater to orders for a workplace or event?

Of course! We regularly send larger orders of bread & pastries into offices across central Auckland and some North Shore suburbs. Most orders can be made through our online shop. For orders that require specific timing, or more TLC in general, we ask that you please email Alasdair (orders@dailybread.co.nz). He's more than happy to work through the specifics with you.
