Chef de Partie – Belmont

We're looking for an up-and-coming chef to join our Belmont bakery kitchen, located on Eversleigh St. This bakery sits in a busy, tight-knit community on the North Shore. The site itself is expansive and hosts our leading patisserie and kitchen teams.  The site helps supply 5 of our other Daily Bread cafes with more sites opening up in the near future.

The role will include assisting in the preparation, cooking, organisation & maintenance of the offerings.

Head Chef – Belmont

Sick of working nights and weekends?  Want a diverse role with new challenges? Make a killer sandwich/ salad? We need a head chef for our growing enterprise, in exchange, we'll bring unique challenges to tackle and even better rewards.

We're looking for a Head Chef. Currently employing over 140 people, we are on the hunt for someone to run a small and tight kitchen team that helps support our baking and pastry teams, with the opportunity to grow into our new site set to open early next year in Britomart changing the face of hospitality in NZ.

Jr. Pastry Chef – Point Chevalier

We're on the lookout for two junior pastry chefs to join our growing team. These positions are across our two largest sites – Point Chevalier and Belmont.

Our Point Chevalier bakery is a gorgeous heritage site that once held a bank. Belmont is our largest site, which holds the majority of our pastry team including all our laminators!

Our pastry team work closely with the FOH & bakery teams, along with our lamination team over in Belmont, to ensure every pastry leaving our doors is made with a-lot of love and to a meticulous standard.

Senior Baker – Point Chevalier

We're on the lookout for a senior baker to join our growing team. This position is stationed inside our Point Chevalier bakery, a gorgeous heritage site which once held a bank. Our bakery team work closely with the FOH & pastry teams. Ensuring every sourdough is baked to an impeccable standard.

Store Manager – Britomart

FULL-TIME // AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

This role suits a lover of our bustling CBD, situated between Kingi (restaurant) & the entrance on Customs St E. This site services the heart Britomart, with everything at your doorstep.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a small site that packs a punch. Having only a handful of staff (at most), you'll need great time-management skills, barista experience and be able to work independantly.

Barista – Ponsonby

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME // AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

We're on the hunt for a few barista's to join our Ponsonby site, sitting on the corner of Pollen St & Ponsonby Road. This bakery is our busiest for coffee, with a line out the door more often than not.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years experience making coffee, love chatting to our lovely regulars & be flexible with the role.

Barista & 2IC – Newmarket

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME // AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

Our Newmarket store is uniquely located inside the Citta store on Morrow St, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We're on the lookout for a barista to pull a few amazing shots of Supreme, Tuesday–Saturday (flexible).

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years experience making coffee, love chatting to our lovely regulars & be flexible with the role. You'll often be serving customers as much as making coffee.
