From New Zealand, Tom is a chef by heart and has worked in the industry all over the world. He's also at the helm of downtown restaurant, Kingi. He's passionate about sustainability and has a strong sense of building community by collaborating with non-profits and a number of local charities.
Prior to Daily Bread, Josh spent years slogging away as the front of house guy at Tom & Josh's well known cafe & restaurant, Orphans Kitchen. He now takes care of day-to-day operations at all 11 of our stores.
And Patrick, a skilled baker from Germany, relocated to New Zealand in 2015 (or thereabouts) with little more than a bag, his wife, and a 600-year-old sourdough starter.
Over 300 people make up the rest of our team, which includes our devoted, hard-working bakers and everyone from front of house to distributions.
