Our story The kingi board is a special collaboration between sustainable seafood restaurant kingi, plastics recycler CRITICAL, and LegaSea.
Together we’re on a mission to raise awareness about the impact bottom trawling and commercial fishing has on ocean ecosystems – one chopping board at a time.
Using CRITICAL’s proprietary technology, we have created a chef grade chopping board made from 100% recycled post consumer packaging and fishing nets.
The kingi board is a lasting, and very colourful reminder about the importance of looking after our oceans and protecting the world’s fisheries. It’s also perfect for the kitchen, the boat, or the bach when you’re preparing delicious kai.
